Record Search

myIPs system provide 3 type of search function:

• Search by IP Address
• Search by Staff No.
• Search by Location

Search by IP Address :

You can search for IP Address by :

- Exact Search or
- Begin With ...

Exact Search for IP Address requires you to enter a specific IP Address in the IP Address field then click 'Search' or press <Enter>. myIPs will look for the IP Address in the myIPs database and display the detail info for further action.

IP Address search by 'Begin With ...' requires you to enter part of the IP Address in the IP Address field and click Search button. myIPs system will find and display a list of IP Address that matched your query.

Double-Click on a selected IP Address to display detailed info of the IP Address for further action.

Search by Staff No.:

Enter Staff No. to search for IP Address and related information.

Search by Location:

Choose Area, State, City and Workgroup or Segment to obtain a list of IP Address for the selected location. Note: You will need to press <Enter> after entering the segment number. Yo can search up to Workgroup/Segment or just up to City level only.

Double-Click on the IP Address row to display other information of each IP Address.

Click Update or Delete button if you need to modify the record of a selected IP Address. You can also obtain additional information (if required) about the selected IP Address by clicking Update button then Live Info. myIPs system will try to obtain information on the hostname, LAN ID and MAC Address. 'Live Info' button is suitable for finding info of a PC.
